Soul Eater — Supernatural

In Supernatural, a soul eater creates a nest between worlds. The nest resembles its occupied house, but ordinary time does not govern it. Victims’ souls become trapped there while their living bodies can remain unconscious outside.

Season 11, episode 16, “Safe House,” connects investigations undertaken at different times. The creature manipulates trapped victims with distressing images of people they love. The familiar shape of the house makes its separate interior world particularly deceptive.
